I am a 5th generation cattle rancher and I have always loved photography. So some 15ish years ago when I was leading the ranchers in a defense of continued use of the USFS I decided that if the general public could just understand this way of life of a cowboy somehow they would understand the sincerity of this path I have chosen. So I started packing my camera and photographing working cowboys just doin what they do. I have been blessed with many friends that live across the United States and abroad and so my travels have expanded outside of California, I must tell you the hat styles...
